Saving and loading settings should be intuitive with Trader Workstation but it is not the case due to bad labelling.
To save your settings as XML file, go to File > Save Settings As....
- To load your settings from XML file, go to
File > Layout/Settings Recovery.... - Select Custom and then select your XML file.
You can use this technique to mirror your settings from paper trading to live trading. The loading is not full proof. For my case, the first time that I loaded the settings, some buttons are disabled. I have to restart Trader Workstation to solve this. So, test it first before fully trust the new settings.
