Windows 10 - Set US International Keyboard

By xngo on July 18, 2019

In earlier version of MS Windows, I used to configure my keyboard to use US International Keyboard layout so that I can type characters with accents such as é, è, ç, ö, etc. In MS Windows 10, to enable the US International Keyboard layout, do the followings:

  1. Press Windows key + q to search for Language settings.
  2. Click on English (United States) to see the Options button.
    Win 10 - Language settings
  3. Click on the Options button and then add the United States-International keyboard.
    Add keyboard layout

Test keyboard

  1. Open Notepad
  2. Press single quote key(') followed by e key. You should get é.
  3. Press single quote key(') followed by c key. You should get ç.
