In earlier version of MS Windows, I used to configure my keyboard to use US International Keyboard layout so that I can type characters with accents such as é, è, ç, ö, etc. In MS Windows 10, to enable the US International Keyboard layout, do the followings:
- Press Windows key + q to search for Language settings.
- Click on English (United States) to see the Options button.
- Click on the Options button and then add the United States-International keyboard.
Test keyboard
- Open Notepad
- Press single quote key(') followed by e key. You should get é.
- Press single quote key(') followed by c key. You should get ç.
