Having a paper trading account with Interactive Brokers is practical. I use it mainly to get familiar with their software, especially with features that I have never used. To enable it, follow the following steps.
- Login to your Interactive Brokers web portal.
- Navigate to Settings > Account Settings
- Under Configuration section, click on the Configure gear icon at the right side of Paper Trading Account line.
- From there activate you paper trading account.
