My rule is you need to have a visual or audio change every 8 seconds to keep the audience's attention.

Camera pan

Zoom in and out

1. Add whoosh sound effect before the zoom in effect.
2. Stay zoom in for a few seconds for the speaker to complete its sentence.
3. Zoom out back.
